It was sunday, the big day a holiday to rejoice to finish up your pending work and a lot more but for me it was nothing more than a full time resting day, by all implication. So after napping extra 5 continous hours I woke up to imply all the other thing for which Sunday was meant for.........."What to start with"..........I drawled. As far as my morning tea was concerned I was having it at 10 so don't go for its literal sense.My mother had already warned it thrice for the last five hours and finally with no hope for getting up she left for her other household chores.Islumped on my sofa, all set to aquaint myself with my current affairs only to know that India was selected as the venue for the next "Common Wealth Games 2010". I was elated with gaity."Finally!! we got the oppourtunity to host the prestigious international game after a long time and this time we are going to show the world our exceptional organisational skill and get the full out of it".....I grumbled. That prove that you are no less than any of those western countries.From then, whenever there was a huge talk about India emerging as the next Superpower I used to get induced with patriotism thinking that probably it make sense.India was aptly titled INCREDIBLE INDIA..After all its vouage from developing country to a super power is really by all sense INCREDIBLE.
It was the same day today....Sunday....But with a different mindset. Each time I sit to hear some better news and time reversed. It was all the corruption done by Suresh Kalmaniand others was less that we find in additional punitive remark which says our country is silthy and inhabitable. what could be more flagrant than pulling out top athletes from the games for security and health concern. with just 12 days to go the footover bridge near the Nehru stadium mrnt for athlete snapped and instead of punishment the one responsible for this slapdash and taking quick measure, our most reverant C.M. Sheela Dixit is calming down with her irrelevent explanation.Indian ministers are aggrieved globally and are considered as callous and inept. The event which was meant to bring glory has now shamed us globally. But what astounds me the most is how presumtously our astute organisers are coming out of this mire of corruption. { It is no big issue and the diffrence lie in the standards}, stated imphatically.
INCREDIBLE INDIA..............................what else can I say. My earnest wishes to all the organising comittee members- You will surely hit the target and that is where exactly our incredibility lies.
